Health & Safety

CFR Roofing is an equal opportunities employer who regards the health & safety of their employees to be of paramount importance, and ensures that risk assessments are conducted whenever necessary and appropriate safety training provided.

Training & Safety Awareness

As far as CFR Roofing is concerned, the health, satety and general wellbeing of their employees is of utmost importance, and they are always striving to improve the level of training and safety awareness amongst their staff at all times.

Risk Assessments have been conducted for working on a variety of different roofs and buildings, written guidelines have been issued, and training given where appropriate. When a new type of property is encountered or an unexpected risk arises, a risk assessment is conducted and appropriate written instructions and guidelines are issued to all employees.

Safety Equipment

All employees are supplied with safety equipment, including hard hats, goggles, gloves and safety boots, and scaffolding is used on all buildings and roofing work. An accident register is always available on site throughout the duration of a job, as is appropriate supervision.

Safety Meetings

Regular safety meetings are held with employees enabling them to raise any issues arising, and for management and staff to work together to find a safe and workable solution.

On and Off the Job Training

In addition to safety training, all employees regularly receive on and off the job training related to specific aspects of the roofing indsutry, including training in the use of specialist equipment, new materials and processes.
